Pet Care for First Time Owners

This website is for the use of everyone and anyone that wants to learn information about pet care. There was a boom of people that bought pets during lockdown and knew no information about them. After the pandemic some of the owners are returning their pets due to having no time or were overwhelmed by their pet. I want to create a space where people can interact with others to seek advice on how to manage your pet. I hope this website can help others decide if they are good enough for a pet and how to properly introduce them to your home.

Vaccines can help prevent diseases or illness. Which can save you the cost of going to the vet from a disease that could have been avoided.

It is recommend to spay/neuter your pet

To avoid unwanted puppies/kittens

Another thing to care for your dog as well as cat, is their dental health. Many owners overlook their teeth and as a result it involves avoidable visits to the vet. Bad breath is also a sign to see if there is anything wrong with your pet. There are many ways to keep your pet’s teeth healthy.

  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Dental Treats
  • Dental Bones
  • Wipes

Cat Care

If you plan to have your cat be outdoors it is recommended to spay/neuter your cat. As well as vaccinate them. In order to protect them from diseases transmitted from other cats as well as not making other cats make more kittens. Cats also need many items similar to a dog but they need these items for their well being.

  • Litter Box
  • Scratching Post
  • Cat Tree
  • Brush
  • Cat Toys
  • Nail Clippers

Cats are meat eaters and need to eat meat everyday in order to survive. It is not recommend to make a cat eat a vegan diet as they will not thrive.

Thank you for PRAHD for giving me the opportunity to create my own website. I had a fun experience learning with the other girls and created some friendships within it. If I were to go back in time I would come back here again.
