Children’s Book Drive

PRAHD, in collaboration with Christian Lopez, is excited to host our Children’s Book Drive! This initiative supports the Auxiliary of JFK Medical Center Foundation’s celebration of Read Across America Week, bringing books and joy to young readers.

We are collecting new and gently used books for children and teens aged 3–18. Your donations will help inspire a love for reading and make a meaningful impact on our community’s youth.

How to Donate

  • Drop off dates are January 27 – February 24, 2025
  • Bring your book donations to our drop-off location: 100 First Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861
  • Donations can be made Monday through Friday, between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM.

Foreclosure Presentation Course

Course Description

Helping homeowners who are experiencing financial difficulty to better understand what foreclosure may mean is the platform for the foreclosure education course. It’s designed to provide valuable information about the when, where, why, and what your next steps should be during such a stressful time. Most importantly, it defines the tools available to you if faced with the difficult decision of foreclosure. This course also prepares homeowners with information to navigate away from the potential scams they may be presented with during the foreclosure process.

Course Curriculum

  • Understand the process of foreclosure
  • Learn about scams in the marketplace
  • Walkthrough of what steps to take
  • Plan for the next stages of homeownership
