Celebrate The Day of Puerto Rico 2024

Celebrate Puerto Rican Heritage with PRAHD!

Join us as we honor Puerto Rican heritage and culture at The Day of Puerto Rico, a special event open to all! This celebration begins with a flag-raising ceremony at Perth Amboy’s City Hall Circle, 260 High Street, at 1 pm. Afterward, the festivities continue with a vibrant Cultural Exhibition from 2 to 4 pm at the Robert N. Wilentz School, 51 First Street. Please use the Entrance on Second Street through the cafeteria door.

Enjoy free food, entertainment, and activities for all ages! Experience the passion of traditional Bomba, explore a living wax museum highlighting Puerto Rican history, and celebrate with live performances. We’ll also recognize an outstanding community leader, Leezenia Rodriguez.

This event is funded, in part, by a grant from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Bring family and friends for this joyful celebration of Puerto Rican pride. We can’t wait to see you there!

Foreclosure Presentation Course

Course Description

Helping homeowners who are experiencing financial difficulty to better understand what foreclosure may mean is the platform for the foreclosure education course. It’s designed to provide valuable information about the when, where, why, and what your next steps should be during such a stressful time. Most importantly, it defines the tools available to you if faced with the difficult decision of foreclosure. This course also prepares homeowners with information to navigate away from the potential scams they may be presented with during the foreclosure process.
